Event Description
Please join us to hear our very special guest speaker, Rabbi Denise Eger of Kol Ami Temple in West Hollywood, speak to our members about our role in the world as gay healers. Rabbi Eger is a member of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and the first woman AND first openly gay president of the Southern California Board of Rabbi’s. Rabbi Eger has published extensively on human sexuality, interfaith dialogue and human rights has done extensive work with people with AIDS. She has appeared on television and radio as an expert in these areas. We are lucky to have Rabbi Eger as a dedicated spiritual and community leader.
Rabbi Denise will speak for an hour and a half, then we'll have a social mixer. Please feel free to bring new people. Please bring snacks if you want. WE WILL START ON TIME so please be on time!
