"Dancing With The Medicine Wheel"
Greetings Brothers;
After further study of the "architecture" of the Medicine Wheel, I Googled "Sun Bear" for clarification of Earthworm ("Renewal") - Position #26. You may want to visit the following webpage: http://www.ewebtribe.com/StarSpiderDancing/wheel.html
And I noticed something: the structure of the Inner Circle has 3 stones above the horizon and 4 stones below the horizon. Astrologically, this corresponds to the following: the 4 stones are the Ruling Elements - Fire, Earth, Air, and Water; and the 3 stones represent the qualities that have been assigned to the Zodiac Signs - Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable.
I asked for Clarification and received "Clarity". If you feel out-of-sorts or lost in trying to learn the wheel (or by a situation in your Life), try laying out pieces of paper with the Properties of the Wheel in the order that Sun Bear gave them. You may be surprised when you find yourself drawn to a particular position / it's Totem Animal / Plant / Mineral / or Definition.

Dear Brothers;
Namaste.
This was an incredibly-transformative weekend, and the Medicine Wheel was left there -- intact -- as a tribute to the Chumash Indians and for people of all walks of life to come to when they need that little reminder that we are all Spirit Beings in Physical Bodies.
