I have studied and practiced Eastern spiritual traditions for the past 20 years:
Vedanta- in particular the non-dual teachings of Swami Vivekananda
Hinduism- Bhakti, Shaivite, Tantra and Yoga traditions
Buddhism- Japanese Zen & Pure Land, Tibetan

Although I believe classical scripture study is important, my emphasis has been on the practice of meditation, mantra and chanting, within a context of engagement with the community, the planet and the universe which is our true home.

After 10 years living in a monastic ashrama, I've moved away from formal religious practice toward a more spontaneous and individualized form of "be here now."

I'm very interested in all forms of holistic healing, especially energy healing, sound healing, reiki, chi kung, etc. I've taken several energy healing classes and would like to learn more!

Looking forward to meeting all of you and learning more about your healing work! Thank you.
