The Deep Long Tide...

Hello Fellow Healers,

I Just finished an inspiring craniosacral class in Canoga Park/Woodland Hills. I had the honor of being in the class with a wonderful compassionate teacher Don Ash. It was life changing. It truly bought me to a whole new level as a facilitator. It's called CADD or Craniosacral Therapy Around Death and Dying: It was a four day workshop about life.The biological process of life includes the process of coming and going. This workshop explored the feelings and emotions around the going; for the practitioner, the patient, and the survivor. This was a craniosacral therapy training in the use of somato-emotional release and dialogue technigues to fascilitate the process of transition known as death, and the transition of loss from major life change.

 What an amazing powerful beautiful class it was. If you are familiar with craniosacral therapy I highly recommend taking this class to recharge your skills... During the class I learned something new :) There are three tides or rhythms of the cerebrospinal fluid that are detectable by feeling the body... Each one has a distinct feeling... The deepest or longest tide is the most spiritual...

One woman in class also thought this was an amazing revelation and she wrote a beautiful poem about it.

THE DEEP LONG TIDE

In the deep long tide
there is no story…

there is… an undeniable truth
of palpable, raw, conscious intelligence.

It is incredibly intriguing, slow, gentle, powerful, beautiful and very potent!
And therefore, important to stay grounded and present and appreciative.


Within death, there is life.
And within life, there is death.

It is an opening for the survivor
There is a pivotal point in time.

Within the silence of grief
A higher calling can be heard.

A higher calling to let the petty superficial parts of life drop off.


Allow the pain…
Let it flow through the river of the heart.

Let it heal, nurture and guide.
In the long deep tide

Giving is receiving
And receiving is giving…

So in every session you give
You receive.
